On this day, Israelis elected the 13th Knesset. The Inter-Parliamentary Union records that the election was held on 23 June 1992 and that Labor, led by Yitzhak Rabin, won 44 seats to Likud's 32.

No party had an absolute majority. The new Knesset approved Rabin's cabinet on 13 July.
